A variety of training packages are available. These can be delivered onsite; we are happy to come to you.

Hand Hygiene Training

·    This training session should be conducted annually as well as during staff induction. This is a practical interactive training session using a ultra-violet light and glitterbug fluorescent potion

·    Duration 1 hour

·    CPD Certificate provided

Infection Control Training

·   A review of the latest infection control and decontamination guidance including:

1. What evidence the Care Quality Commission will look for during inspections in relation to Outcome 8 of Essential Standards of Quality and Safety.

2. Risks presented from blood borne viruses and methods of prevention including Immunisations recommended

3. Essential and best practice guidelines and practical tips for implementation

4. Waste Segregation

5. Sharps management and safe injection procedures

6. Reducing Risk

7. Body Handling and Disposal & Cleanup Procedures

8. Use of Personal Protective Equipment

9. Management of exposure incidents

10. Tattoos – Clean Techniques and procedures

Decontamination Training Onsite

· Hand on practical training delivered in your decontamination room/area and includes how to:-

1. Carry out and record daily, weekly and quarterly tests on Ultra Sonic Bath

2. Carry out and record daily and weekly tests on Washer Disinfector

3. Carry out and record daily and weekly tests on Autoclave

4. The decontamination Cycle. The Instrument Journey from the Chair-side to storage.

· Duration 2 hours

· CPD Certificate provided

Decontamination Training Offsite

· Hands on practical training in a fully compliant decontamination training room in London for up to 8 members of your team

· Those planning decontamination rooms will benefit from seeing how the room should be set-up/ laid out.

· Opportunity to test and pilot the latest decon equipment on the market

· Training includes:-

1. Carry out and record daily, weekly and quarterly tests on Ultra Sonic Bath

2. Carry out and recorddaily and weekly tests on Washer Disinfector

3. Carry out and recorddaily and weekly tests on Autoclave

4. The decontamination Cycle. The Instrument Journey from the Chair-side to storage.
